Film Night in Dorchester: Pig Business, and an invitation to collaborate
Dear Transition Towns Weymouth and Portland,
I am sending details of an upcoming event we are organising that we think anyone who cares about our local community, human health, the environment and/or animal welfare won’t want to miss!!!
Please do forward this onto your members and do let us know if you are interested in collaborating with us to hold more screenings in future including of Film Inc and other environmental related films throughout Dorset. We believe that by working together we can not only reduce costs for any licences and venue hire, but we can combine our efforts to spread awareness for the environment and reach far more people : )

FILM NIGHT: PIG BUSINESS
Dorchester Community Church, Acland Road,
Dorchester, Dorset DT1 1EF
Compassionate Dorset are having our first film screening of ‘Pig Business’.
The film follows Tracy Worcester, a mother and campaigner, as she confronts the giant meat corporations that sweep across the world undermining rural communities, human health, the environment and animal welfare. It explains how we can take back control by buying meat raised to high animal welfare standards from the local producers… in short this film is about: The corporate takeover of our food economy.
For more information on the film visit www.pigbusiness.co.uk.
TICKETS AVAILABLE ON THE DOOR.
Price: £4 (suggested donation).
(All proceeds are in aid of the leading worldwide farm animal welfare charity Compassion in World Farming and specifically to help fund Compassionate Dorset events and creative projects as their local supporter group).
