Book: The communist manifesto
The communist manifesto
The wealth of nations may increase but the price is paid in the slums of northern industrial cities by factory hands. Marx anticipates that the working class will loose its chains in the west first. History reveals that agricultural societies were the most fertile for communism but that capitalism temporarily triumped. The human costs of profit were noted by Marx and Engels. Now we are counting the environmental cost of the rampant globilisation with climate change and impending peak oil that will end the exploitation of the planet and its people for profit.
